Health & SafetyGCL-Poly has been attaching importance to occupational health and safety. We adhere to the people-oriented business philosophy, and seriously carry out the state guidelines, policies laws, regulations, standards and norms on occupational health and safety, and have been giving priority to physical and mental health and safety of employees, realizing five simultaneous measures for health and safety in operations, so as to ensure four no-harms. We’ve been pursuing the goal of no personal injury accident and occurrence of occupational disease, and achieving first-class EHS performance, which is also one of the key points and connotations of the safety culture of GCL.

In accordance with international and national standards, we’ve established the management system of occupational health and safety, and have passed authority certification, so as to guarantee all management work in this aspect can be carried out according to high standard. We’ve conducted safety training activities regularly to promote safety culture of GCL and sharpen employees’ awareness and skill of safety. We’ve managed to have employees and contractors comply with our safety rules and processes, and overcome the cultural factor that may lead to unsafe behavior; in the operational stage with high risk, rigid permit system is practiced, and dedicated person is appointed to supervise the operation. We’ve been attaching importance to inherent safety of product appliances and facilities, ensuring sufficient input and keep them in a good state. We’ve tried to keep a good relationship with the government, public and suppliers by way of communication and mutual understanding, so as to realize harmonious and safe development of the enterprise.

Health & SafetyOne of our tasks is to enable all employees to work decently and comfortably. We provide labor protection and welfare to employees, give protection to female employees, regularly have physical checkup, and try to build a clean and cozy worksite, and create sound work environment. We pay attention to physical health and mental health of employees. The company has formed many PE and cultural activity centers, frequently organize employees to participate in such activities; we’ve tried to provide free cultural entertainments for employees to enrich their life out of work, and promote the care culture of GCL.
