GCL—Poly has built a three-in-one charity model focusing on environmental protection, while taking education and disaster relief into account as well. The charity model is aimed to create the best working environment for employees, and make every effort to promote social harmony, environmental protection and the cause of charity. Over the years, GCL—Poly has organized and taken part in 100-plus charity and public welfare projects, and donated cash and goods worth about RMB 100 million.

Technical support: We support human efforts in exploring the mystery of the unknown world, concern about the development of science and technology, and by sponsoring universities and research institutes to upgrade teaching conditions, research facilities and fund poor students.	Sunshine school: We are concerned about the life and educational condition of children in poverty-stricken areas, and have sponsored numbers of GCL Sunshine Schools across the country. We have introduced green concepts to teachers and students, and all those schools use the solar energy as their source of power.

Disaster relief: We cherish kindness, and in the case of major disasters, do our utmost to support the government to do relief work rapidly, orderly and efficiently, so as to minimize the loss of life or property, and assist post-disaster reconstruction.
