CTO/Chief Engineer - Global R&D Center

(The position will be based in US with frequent travel to China)

Job Description:

• Initiate and lead R&D projects for polysilicon, wafer production, and the rest of the solar value chain
• Develop or analyze new production technologies
• Commercialize lab technologies into industrial production
• New product development
• Streamlining or reengineering of existing production process in our China facility for quality improvement or cost savings
• Provide technical support to other business functions of the company
• Engage in technical discussions in business meetings

Ideally you should have a Ph.D. in chemistry or chemical engineering or related discipline with over 10 years of related industry research experience. You should possess advanced knowledge in solar or semiconductor industry, particularly in polysilicon and/or wafer production. You should be a team player with strong project management and communication skills. Fluency in English is essential.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree from a leading academic institution required
• Over 7 years of sales and marketing experience in relevant industries with a proven track record of success
• In-depth knowledge in solar and strong relationships with key solar industry players in the US/Europe
• Ability to think strategically and plan
• Team player with strong leadership, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
• Fluency in English is essential, any European language skills is preferable (for the Europe GM) but not a must
• Frequent travel to clients』 locations required
